Welcome! My name is Joby Siciliano and I'd like to share some my life story with you.
My Journey with a lifestyle in the healing arts began in Sarasota, Florida. I was raised in a very spiritual alternaitive community. Surrounded by the beautiful quartz crysyal sand beaches of Siesta Key, I began developing my own healing style at the young age of fifteen years old. At the time I was not truly aware of my own potential as a natural healer, and did not realize its gravity. In my later teens I began creating a natural and organic lifestyle, experimenting with various vegetarian diets, yoga and meditation, as well as exploring careers with organic farming and as a natural foods chef. In my early twenties I began to pursue a career as a professional cyclist which led me to beautiful Colorado and eventually to a one year professional cycling contract. The following year I was unable to gain another professional cycling contract and I decided to begin my career in retail cycling and natural foods. In spring of 2012, I changed direction with a life choice to to pursue opportunities that encompass all of my acquired life skills, as well as my true passion for helping others. My desire led me to embark upon a remarkable journey through The Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado's 900 hour certificate program.
My expierence over the past two years has enhanced my strong, heartfelt passion to help others and provide healing opportunities in our fast-paced, demanding world. I have been trained in a vast array of clinical modalities in bodywork and massage therapy. Furthermore, my clinical work at Olde Town Acupunture and as an independent contractor, a resident massage therapist, with the Chanda Plan Foundation has provided me with a wealth of opportunitites to work on a diverse group of clients and gain extensive clinical experience. I am eager and ready to integrate my education and clinical knowledge, while serving as a strong representative of the Massage Therapist network and contributing to Colorado's healing arts community.
